Kate Jones
Kate started her career as a writer for the features section of The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch. She was fresh out of college and was using her given name, Kathryn Jelepis. After she married her first husband, she took on his name. As Kathryn DeLong, she went on to be the features editor of The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Wash.; one of a team of lifestyle editors at The Detroit News; the managing editor of Scene magazine in Cleveland, Ohio; and the editor of Northern Ohio Live magazine, also in Cleveland. Along the way, she got into radio and spent 14 years as co-host of the Saturday morning show "My Beautiful Home" on WAKR-AM in Akron, Ohio. Kate loves giving guests a platform for telling their stories, and she enjoys sharing insights and information with her listeners. "The Gale Hill Radio Hour" is Kate's platform for doing all this. It's a combination of her two former podcasts, "At Home Radio" and "Everyday Exuberance."
